Journal of Surgery Case Reports publishes case reports in all fields of surgery. Case reports must be credible, accessible, informative, and medically relevant for an international audience of surgeons, trainees, and investigators in all surgical sub-specialties, as well as associated clinicians. The peer review journal OPEN ACCESS publishes original articles, studies, case reports on gastroenterological surgery, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, pediatric surgery, transplant surgery, and emergency surgery.
The aim of the paper is to contribute to the advancement of surgery by providing an informative forum for clinicians and researchers to disseminate their personal experience and innovative procedures to a wide range of readers and by reviewing fascinating, rare cases experienced by colleagues around the world, from whom submissions are accepted. Each lead author of a published article is provided with a paper copy of the Journal publishing his / her article.
Peer-review policy
This Journal uses double-blind peer review processes and publishes high-quality articles in various categories including original research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, perspectives, editorials, editorial letters, etc. The members of the Journal Editorial Board conduct the peer review process and other eminent experts provided that at least two or more independent reviewers approve the article, followed by the approval of the editors for final acceptance.
Published articles are freely accessible worldwide and can be accessed or downloaded without the permission of the publisher, but the copyright is maintained. Under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License articles are distributed.
